In principle the processes of the project should be self-sustaining in the schools that join the project network. By the end of the project the Council of Europe's guide to the development of plurilingual curricula mentioned above should be available, and it may be that the ECML's 4th medium-term programme will contain a project that carries the work of the present project, together with this guide, into new domains. The products of the project will clearly have a role to play in such a process.
